BCS – Trichorich contains, Trichoderma viride an antagonistic fungus that protects the plant roots from all pathogenic fungi like Rhizoctonia solani, species of Pythium, Fusarium and prevents major diseases like Stem rot, Root rot, Collar rot, Die back, Damping off, Wilt, fruit rot etc.
Trichoderma viride is present in nearly all soils and other diverse habitats. Strains Trichoderma viride of are widely used in biocontrol of soil-borne plant-pathogenic fungi occurring in the most extreme to the most mundane of habitats. Many physiological, antifungal and insecticidal activities have been attributed to this species. Trichoderma attacks plant pathogenic fungi through mycoparasitism, antibiosis and competition for nutrient and space.

BCS - Nematrap
BCS-Namatrap contains an entomopathogenic fungus called Pacilomyces lilacinus. BCS-Namatrap protects the root system against diseases caused by plant parasitic nematodes, specifically root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.), reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis), Banana nematod es (Radopholus similis) and citrus nematod es (Tylenchulus semipenetrans). These nematodes infect several crops of economic importance. This bio-agent colonizes the root surface and strongly parasitizes the eggs and egg-masses and various females, juveniles of plant parasitic nematodes.

BCS-METASAFE contains an entomopathogenic fungus called Oktarhiziwn anisopliae, which controls soil pests like white grubs and termites. Metarhizium anisopliae is an insect-pathogenic fungus found naturally on some plants and in the soil. It is known as the green muscardine fungus because infected insect larvae eventually turn green. It has an extensive host list that includes such important pests as whiteflies, aphids, grasshoppers, termites, Colorado potato beetle, Mexican bean beetle, Japanese beetle, boll weevil, cereal leaf beetle, bark beetles, lygus bugs, chinch bug, fire ants, European corn borer, codling moth, and Doug las fir tussock moth Spores of M. anisopliae germinates and penetrates into insect cuticle by combination of mechanical force and various cuticle-degrading enzymes like chitinase, protease and lipase produced during host penetration. Once inside the host insect, the fungus colonizes and causes death of insect.
